David Lysengen is a retired business professional with a career spanning many different roles across various business entities. David brings 35 years of business experience in accounting, finance, marketing research, marketing database, business intelligence, enterprise architecture and data governance with PACTEL Cellular, Airtouch Communications, Verizon Wireless and the Automobile Club of Southern California.

In his roles, David has led major project initiatives, managed multimillion dollar budgets, negotiated and finalized contracts with several prominent companies, and has provided leadership and guidance to his project teams.

David was with the Automobile Club of Southern California for over 20 years. Like the LCPOA, the Auto Club is a membership organization that utilizes fees to provide benefits and services to its member base. It also has a significant volunteer program called “The Club Cares,” which provided David the opportunity to support the Second Harvest Food Bank, the Ronald McDonald House, and the United Way. David is excited to have the opportunity to bring his experience of marketing, accounting, finance, volunteering, and governance to the LCPOA community.

David currently serves on the LCPOA Governing Documents Committee and has been active in a number of community-based events. As an LCPOA Board Member, David would be committed to updating our governing documents, ensuring fiscal responsibility of balanced budgets while maintaining appropriate levels of reserve funding, bringing transparency and decorum to Board interactions, and preserving our infrastructure (roads, culverts, signage, etc.). He further supports safely maintaining our multi-use trail systems, and expanding trail easements as appropriate.

David Lysengen is a common sense, fiscally responsible candidate who would be honored to represent the members of LCPOA and give back to the community he and his wife enjoy so much since discovering our La Cresta paradise
