1. We have both similar goals and along with Paul Gaarenstroom. We will keep La Cresta as we all know and love it. If the two of us win this election, we will again have control of the board. We can continue to vote for our road maintenance and weed abatement. We will vote for ongoing trails support and improved maintenance. We will do our very best to avoid any unnecessary expenses and to keep our reserves in a healthy place.

2. We love and support La Cresta as it is. We love the trails, community events and our hometown parade. We love the Market Place, We love the animals we see in pastures and throughout the plateau. We love driving down our winding, country roads amidst beautiful scenery and ranches.

3. We will strive to keep plateau traffic as minimal as possible while we continue to research ways to mitigate the ongoing speeding concerns.

4. We are aware that La Cresta is a high-risk fire area and we both have extensive experience in this area. We are actively seeking to apply for a grant to bring 1 or 2 Heli-Hydrants to the plateau to improve fire safety and potentially help with homeowner’s insurance rates. We consider this to be a very high priority on our list as duties for directorship.

5. We are both very involved in updating the Governing Documents to keep La Cresta exactly as we know it. There is absolutely no intention of modifying these documents to invite commercial businesses, 5G towers, etc.

6. We support plateau business only to the extent allowed in RA5 zoning. This includes horse and dog care and training, vineyards, farmers and gardeners, Market Place endeavors, etc. We do not support bringing in any outside businesses such as stores, 5G towers, carwashes, etc.

7. We support and encourage getting our neighbors involved in a call-system in the event of an emergency so urgent notification will spread plateau wide.

8. We support establishing and maintaining several areas within our POA to shelter in place with our large animals in a safe environment in the event of a plateau fire.

9. We support doing our very best to ensure a fiscally responsible and transparent budget and reserve.

10. We support an ongoing monthly summary of board actions and votes so members are kept appraised of board decisions, directors’ votes and financial updates as they occur.

11. We support a robust trail system which will be maintained and expanded as trail easements become available. We also support finding a more comprehensive company to better maintain our trail network.

12. We support getting a final legal decision on the culdesac controversy, and will support that decision whichever way it plays out.

13. We support our committees who volunteer uncountable hours to keep our community safe and beautiful.

14. We support including all members in any important decisions that directly affect them via a more robust website, emails and texts.
