David Boyd is a retired Fire Captain and Paramedic with the Orange County Fire Authority, bringing over 33 years of dedicated service and life-saving experience to every role he takes on. With a Bachelor’s degree in Teaching and a distinguished career as a Training Officer, David has shaped the careers of countless firefighters and contributed to public safety on local and national levels as a proud member of FEMA’s California Task Force 5.

Beyond his firefighting career, David has shown steadfast commitment to his community. He served six years as President of the Bear Creek Master Homeowners Association and actively contributed to the Fitness & Tennis Committee and CC&R’s Committee. Currently, he continues to give back through his service on the Governing Documents Committee and the Heli Hydrant Committee for the La Cresta Property Owners Association (LCPOA).

As a candidate for the LCPOA Board, David is driven by a deep respect for what makes La Cresta so exceptional: its privacy, natural beauty, rural charm, and strong sense of family and community. He is committed to protecting the equestrian lifestyle that defines the area, ensuring financial stability and transparent governance, and upholding safety and responsibility for all residents.

David is not seeking a position of power — he is stepping up to serve with integrity, common sense, and accountability. With his extensive experience, proven leadership, and heartfelt dedication, David Boyd aims to help preserve La Cresta as the paradise it is today and for generations to come.
