Roy Paulson was willing and able to step into my LCPOA Board position due to health challenges, at my request and approval to assume my duly elected role as your representative. Roy has proven more than worthy of our collective faith in his ability to reason and evaluate the many issues facing our community daily. Taking a proactive role on the Board, Roy has worked tirelessly to apply his experience and insight on the LCPOA Board, permitting resolution of outstanding issues and carry forward the vision of harmony in La Cresta.
We all moved to La Cresta to enjoy the magnificence of the plateau, while preserving our way of life and environment. I am casting my vote this fall for Roy Paulson, neighbor, and fellow caring human. I know in my heart he will continue to use his knowledge, experience, and common sense to protect La Cresta from the various pressures and special interests that often divert our attention from what really matters. I am voting for Roy Paulson to promote Peace in our community while showing respect for each of our neighbors and protecting the beauty of the plateau.

As a former Board President of the La Cresta Property Owners Association, I want to endorse Roy Paulson for the upcoming Election of Directors for our Board this September.
I have had occasion to witness Roy the last seven months as he conducted the duties and responsibilities as President of our Association. In my judgement, Roy has clearly exhibited his dedication to our community and his endeavor to preserve/protect our way of life on the Plateau. Roy is very energetic and has a commitment to fairness and inclusion for all.
Having watched many Director/Presidents over the years that have gone before him, I would judge him as "one of the best"!
I would personally encourage you to vote for him in September.

My name is Rick DeAndero and I have served on the LCPOA board for eight years; three of which I was president. During this last year of my tenure, Roy Paulson has been president and I have served as his vice president. Working with Roy has been enlightening in that he has a calm way of showing strength. He doesn’t get angry, and he has been a quick study regarding the history of La Cresta. I have also become acquainted with David Boyd as he has served on several committees and attends open session meetings regularly. David has a great deal of experience having served on the Bear Creek board for many years. Both David and Roy share my values regarding the community that Kris and I moved to over twenty years ago. Those values are as follows: 1. Retain the equestrian friendly nature of La Cresta as it was originally designed to be by the founders back in 1969. 2. Keep La Cresta fiscally sound by maintaining a well-funded reserve in order to facilitate road, trail and easement upkeep and improvement. 3. Uphold our CC&R’s so that our community will remain aesthetically and functionally appealing as well as protect property values.

My name is Paul Gaarenstroom I’m currently on the Board of Director’s in La Cresta holding both Secretary & Treasury positions. Today I’m endorsing both Roy Paulson & David Boyd for the Board of Director’s on the LCPOA.
Both these gentlemen have La Cresta’s best interest at heart. They love our community, and both are deeply seated in maintaining La Cresta as the community it was meant to be since 1969.
Roy and David are both very active in the equestrian community of La Cresta and understand that our trails are the gateway to hundreds of miles of trails throughout the plateau and beyond. No other community I know of has that to boast about. Roy and David both strongly support keeping our trails alive and well as not only the life blood of our community, but also as an important part of our property values. Roy Paulson, current LCPOA President, has unanimously voted yes on all trails issues which further underscores his commitment to this valuable resource.
Roy brings forty years of strong business leadership to the LCPOA and I have first hand witnessed the calm demeaner this man has in the face of what some would call crazy behavior from others directed at him personally.
David Boyd brings over 25 years of dedication and service to the Fire Department as both a fire captain, a paramedic and an educator. Running to and not away from a problem is in David’s blood. We need someone with David's level of expertise and dedication to develop and implement solutions to make our community a safer place for our members and our animals alike.
These two men bring both common sense and a feeling of professionalism to our community.
This is a very important vote this year. Please, exercise your voice and get out to vote early.
